Blind. Deaf. Dumb.

The Roanoke Times editorial page this morning:

"Presidential and congressional candidates have scarcely mentioned climate change this year. In one rare exception, Republican Mitt Romney, once an advocate for smarter energy policies, mocked President Obama for promising to 'slow the rise of the oceans and heal the planet.'

"But Hurricane Sandy rudely interrupted the bipartisan silence this week. While it is impossible to say that any single weather event was caused by climate change, Sandy has been just the sort of storm climate models forecast and serves as a terrible reminder of global warming's ever-growing threat."

Finally - after seven long years since Katrina wrecked New Orleans - with a veritable absence of major hurricanes in the intervening years - Times editorialists were able to trot out their global-warming-is-causing-major-weather-to-happen screed.

Let me set the record straight for you guys.  That "While it is impossible to say that any single weather event was caused by climate change ..."?  The fact that there has been only one - ONE - "single weather event" in nearly a decade disallows - at least to rational human beings - any notion that "climate change" is causing anything other than breathless, panicky liberal newspaper editorials.

"Climate change" is nonsense.  And always has been.

So stuff it.
